Classic dribbling skill drill. Player weaves through a line of cones using inside and outside of the foot. Develops touch frequency, balance, and confidence carrying the ball.
• Small touches — every step is a touch
• Use both inside and outside of the foot
• Head up between touches — don't stare at the ball
• Drop the shoulder before the cone, push off the outside foot
• Both feet — alternate which foot starts each rep
Progression: tighter cone spacing (1 yard). Finish with a shot at goal after the last cone. Race against the clock.
Regression: wider cone spacing (2.5 yards). Walking pace.
