DESCRIPTION

Defending team wins the ball and immediately breaks 3v2 the other way. Drills the speed of thought and execution needed to turn defence into attack in the modern transition game.

COACHING POINTS

• Win the ball — first thought is FORWARD, not safe
• First pass after the turnover must be progressive
• Wide runners stretch the pitch — give the ball-carrier space
• Finish the break in 5 seconds or fewer
• If 5 seconds elapse, recycle — don\'t force it

PROGRESSIONS
