DESCRIPTION

Two strikers attack a cross delivered from wide. Near-post and far-post runs split the defence. Drills coordinated movement and finishing variety.

• Near-post runner attacks the front of the goal — flick or glance header
• Far-post runner holds the run — arrives late at the back post
• Don't cross paths — runners stay in their lanes
• Near post: redirect the ball with the forehead
• Far post: power header or side-foot finish
