DESCRIPTION

Drills the Cruyff turn: a 180-degree turn using the inside of the foot to drag the ball behind the standing leg. The single most effective turn in football.

COACHING POINTS

• Look like you\'re going to pass or shoot — sell the fake
• Plant the non-kicking foot beside the ball
• Drag the ball BEHIND your standing leg with the inside of the foot
• Rotate the hips and accelerate away in the opposite direction
• First touch after the turn must go away from pressure
